Password Reset
You can reset your password by having a code sent to your mobile phone via text message or alternate email address without the need to contact TCTC IT support.  To be able to use this option you must setup your mobile number and alternate email at https://account.tctc.edu. Once you log in go to the My Info tab and on the right side of the screen you will see Mobile Number and Alternate E-Mail fields.  When entering your mobile number, it must be in the format 18641234567. You can hover over the blue help icon to the right of the mobile field for further help in typing the correct phone number format.  Also, while on the My Info tab you can choose to display your photo in college applications such as Outlook and Skype.  Once you have entered your information click on the Update button at the bottom of the screen.  You are now able to reset your password using text messaging or alternate e-mail. Standard text messaging rates may apply.

Now that you are setup, you can, at any time, go to https://account.tctc.edu and click on the “Forgot your password?” link to reset your password.  Alternately, you can access the account site from the “Having Password Problems” on the eTC login page.  Once you click on the link enter your username and select if you would like the code sent to your email or phone.  Once you receive the code enter it in and select your new password.

Office 365
Office 365 is available for all Tri-County Students, Faculty and Staff. 

What is Office 365?
Office 365 is a collection of online, cloud-based applications, including online storage with the One Drive application. Office 365 in the cloud means that you can access the well-known office applications from any device just by using a web browser.  No need to worry if office is installed on the device, the cloud version of Office 365 allows instant access to the Office applications and all your files.  In addition to the online apps, you may also download the desktop version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus for use on your personal devices.  Up to 5 installations are allowed and can be managed through your Office 365 account.  So, with your account you have the benefit of the always available from any device cloud version of Office applications as well as the desktop versions of Office applications for your personal devices.

Also, included with your Office365 account is Skype for Business.  Skype is a powerful collaboration application that includes chatting, video and screen sharing.  You can access Skype from any computer that has Office installed.  It is also included with the desktop version of Office for your personal computers as well as free mobile Skype for Business apps are available for your phone.  Once you sign in with your Tri-County email address and password you will be able to easily collaborate with all Students, Faculty and Staff as well as other Skype users outside of Tri-County Technical College.

To get started with Office 365:
To login, go to https://portal.office.com.  Enter your @tctc.edu email address, you will be automatically redirected to the Tri-County Technical College authentication page.  Enter your Tri-County username and password and click “Sign In” to be redirected to your personal Office 365 homepage.  Alternately, you can login through eTC on the Get Connected Tab and the My Services Channel.

After you Log In:
First, click on the One Drive application to complete provisioning your account (this may take a few minutes) then you can begin using all the Office 365 applications and saving your files to One Drive to access from anywhere on any device.  You can access all online applications from the home screen or clicking the grid menu in the top left of your screen.

Install Office on your personal device:
First, be sure to log into Office 365 from your personal device.  Once logged in you will see an Install Office 2016 button to download the desktop office applications for your personal devices.  When you click on the Install Now button the download will begin. You can install Office on up to 5 devices.  If you need an older version of Microsoft Office they are available under the “Other Installs” link. 

Any desktop installations of Office will remain active as long as you are an active student, faculty and staff member.

Sharp Printers
Send a print to the Sharp Print Queue and pick up your print from any Sharp printer within 4 hours.

Sharp multi-function devices have been deployed throughout all campuses.  The Sharp devices allow color and monochrome printing, copying and scanning functions.  Students can log into the printer with their TCTC credentials using the onscreen keyboard or the pull out keyboard located below the screen.  Employees can log in using their ID badge or TCTC credentials.

Once logged in, you will be able to access your waiting print jobs and other device functions.  The devices are integrated into the TCTC directory so you can access the address book for scan to email functions.

You can send a print job to the Sharp print queue and release from any Sharp device.  There are over 40 Sharp devices located on all campuses available to release your print jobs.  To check your print balance or activity, log into https://print.tctc.edu using your TCTC credentials.  You can print from your home device or mobile phone to Sharp printers by uploading files within the print portal to be printed through the Web Print function.  If you have questions about printing contact the Service Desk at https://servicedesk.tctc.edu or 864-646-1779.
